Sachico Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 17, 2026
Sachico talks to Google directly from your device. Sakai System and Consulting LLC. operates no server for this app and never receives, stores or transmits your Search Console data or your Google account credentials.
1. What the app accesses
Sachico is a client for Google Search Console. When you sign in with your Google account, the app requests a single, read-only permission:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly— view Search Console data for your verified properties.
With that permission the app reads the list of properties you can access and, for the property you select, its clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position and top search queries. The permission is read-only: the app cannot submit, delete or change anything in Search Console.
The app also reads the email address of the signed-in Google account. It is shown on the settings screen so that you can tell which account is in use, and it is not sent anywhere.
2. Where that data goes
Requests go from your device straight to Google's servers. The responses are held in the app's memory to draw the screen, and a small summary is written to your device's own storage so that the home screen widget can display it. None of it reaches us.
3. What is stored on your device
| Stored | Why |
|---|---|
| The property and period you last selected | So the app opens where you left off |
| Your favourites | To list frequently used properties first |
| Notification settings, and a record of what has already been sent | To decide when to notify you, and to avoid repeating the same notification |
| Clicks and the change, for the widget | The widget runs as a separate process and can only read shared storage |
| Whether the one-time purchase has been made | To unlock notifications and the widget |
All of it stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app. The access token that lets the app call Google is held by the Google Sign-In library in the operating system's own secure storage.
4. Notifications
If you turn notifications on, the app periodically checks your Search Console figures in the background and shows a local notification when they change sharply. That check runs on your device, and the notification is generated on your device. No push server is involved, and nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
5. Third parties
- Google — sign-in and the Search Console API. Your use of these is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Apple / Google — the in-app purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. We entrust no data to third parties, because we hold none.
Sachico's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Withdrawing access and deleting data
- Signing out from the settings screen removes the account from the app.
- Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device.
- You can revoke the permission at any time from your Google account's third-party apps page.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on request.
7. Children
Sachico is a tool for people who operate a website. It is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Contact and changes to this policy
Questions about this policy can be sent to info@sakai-sc.co.jp, or through the support channel on the App Store or Google Play. If the policy changes, this page will be updated together with the app.
